When you open a release, take the ..._saveedit_ zip — not the auto-generated “Source code” archive (that’s the programming files, with no .exe), and not the all-tools or debug-symbols builds. Extract the whole folder and keep it together; the editor needs its DLLs next to it. The BL2 page has the full step-by-step, including the antivirus false-positive and the look-alike traps to avoid.
